Love at the Smog Shoppe: Mallory & Davin Married!
Mallory & Davin got married last year at our of our favorite LA venues, the Smog Shoppe! What makes the Smog Shoppe so great is that it has so much eye candy built into the venue that you really don't have to do much to create a fantastic, modern backdrop for your wedding. Yes, I'm in love with both this wedding space and this couple!I first met Mallory & Davin at Intelligentsia in Venice for coffee. I knew from the very beginning that they were my kind of couple (when I asked them what they liked to do together, they both said "Brunch", I mean what could be better?).I was honored to be a part of making their day glorious!Mallory was very much a DIY bride: from the photobooth to the wedding flowers, Mallory's hand was in every last detail of the day's decor. Her creativity and organization rallied everyone around her to pitch in to make this wedding happen. Mallory's mom took on the centerpieces, while her dad was charged with the photobooth logistics, the DJ was a close friend, as was their sweets table baker and their photographer is a cousin! Talk about coming together as a family to make Mallory & Davin's dream wedding a reality!
One of the things that impressed me about Mallory & Davin was what an amazing group of friends they had in their bridal party! Having a fabulous time celebrating with their friends was almost just as important as the actual marriage portion of the day!Their close friendships made for some super fun group photos. Everyone ate tacos, drank margaritas and had a blast!
The happy couple rounded out their wedding with a mini-moon to the ACE in Palm Springs: the perfect end to a perfect day!VendorsCoordination: Marisa Nicole EventsPhotography: Matthew BronnerVenue: Smog Shoppe:Catering: Rasta Taco:Bar & Rentals: Huntington Catering Company:Doorman & Valet: TACT Event Management:Floral Deisgn: Mallory's mom!Sweet's Table: Meg ColvinDJ: Al OrtizVideographer: Matt Ford
