Love at Middle Ranch Lodge: Kurt & Cynthia Married!

Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0813Thank God It's Friday friends!Remember that great looking couple that was featured a few weeks back in our Tuesday Tips: Making a Splash While Breaking Glass post? As promised, I shall not make you wait any longer to see more of their beautiful wedding!Kurt & Cynthia's wedding is definitely one of my fondest memories as a wedding planner to date. It was really a pleasure helping them get married. I hate to pick favorites, but this couple is seriously one of my favorite set of love birds to help tie the knot. Why you may ask? Well, read on...Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0505Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0281Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0735Their day was absolutely gorgeous and thankfully Iris & Light was there to capture each and every moment. The wedding was held at the Middle Ranch Lodge, which is a functioning ranch that is just lovely and filled with greenery. They were going for an 'Italian Summer' style with a touch of vintage and I think the whole thing turned out wonderfully. The flowers were designed by another one of my favs, Margit Holakoui who designed everything in white and green (and just little touches of blue). I am squealing with delight just thinking about it! The chuppah was made by Cynthia's father and various mason jars for their centerpieces were collected from several trips to the flea market. One of the details in this wedding that makes me swoon is the tile table numbers. What I love about the whole 'Italian Summer' look is the easiness and simple elegance of it all.  Yes friends, I myself am kind of in love with this style! Going along with this theme of simple elegance, Cynthia wore a fabulous Nicole Miller dress.  Don't you just love the back?!? They ended out the night with dancing to indie music compliments of Sean Sweeney who has all his records on vinyl. I can safely say that a good time was had by all! Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0164Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0074Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0222Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0571bCynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0132Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0582Looking back on their wedding, I can describe it as a pure celebration of their love. Their friends and family gathered around the couple to honor their union and it was like you could feel the joy from miles away. This is probably because Cynthia & Kurt are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is a social worker and he is an author. Together they make quite the dynamic duo of sincerity and generosity. Believe me when I tell you that they are seriously 'salt of the earth' kind of people.

At one point, I turned around to see Kurt, in his tux, carrying out one of the DJ's speakers, and Cynthia, in her bridal gown, loading a box of records into the DJ's car. I've never seen this before or since (and almost had a cow when I saw it this time), but that just shows you how caring this couple is. I hope you enjoy the images from this wedding as much as I enjoyed being a part of Cynthia & Kurt's special day!Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0646Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0412 Sean Spinning_Cynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0802 copyCynthia_&_Kurt_Wedding_0008
