Romantic Coastal Elopement: Anastasiya & Oleg Married!

Happy Wedding Wednesday, Friends!A67A7799Summertime in California is just the best! Here in LA, we are lucky enough to have the beach nearby and help so many of our couples plan celebrations with sweeping coastal views and gorgeous skies that go on forever! To captivate one of my favorite times of the year, I wanted to share Anastasiya and Oleg’s elopement by the coast. Anastasiya and Oleg live in Boston and are both originally from Russia, so with guests coming from all over the world to SoCal, the couple was super interested in showcasing the Pacific in a villa-style setting, which we were able to find at La Venta Inn. We utilized a palette of varying greens, whites and creams with pops of warm peachy pinks woven throughout. We worked to bring in curvy, delicate and long, clean lines with both soft and bold textures. This weddings turned out so beautifully that you can see it featured in the Summer 2016 issue of California Wedding Day (currently on the stands - so go grab your copy and swoon along with me!).resized for blog-2resized for blog-3A67A7762resized for blogA67A7462resized for blog-5Anastasiya’s bouquet was designed with silver dollar eucalyptus, maiden hair, olive branch, large fully bloomed pink peonies, Juliet garden roses, ranunculus and hydrangeas to create the perfect lush organic look. The tablescape was extremely romantic and included all soft and fully bloomed florals; hydrangeas, roses, cafe aulet dahlias, ranunculus, peonies, garden roses, ivory majolica, olive branch, jasmine & silver dollar eucalyptus. We accented the table with lots of candle light votives and clear mason jars for pillar or floating. Even more swoon-worthy.LS2_7770resized for blog-8A67A7870A67A8156A67A8105We started the design process with a more luxe direction, but as our designs took shape, we moved toward a more relaxed vibe (which was was just perfect for the venue). Overall, our aim was to create an intimate dinner party celebration with an overall sense of easy elegance - something clean but with interest. One of my favorite visuals from the wedding was the champagne tower! It’s something you don’t see too often any more, but everyone just loved interacting with the tower and we just loved the elegant and fun visual it created.resized for blog-4LS2_7778resized for blog-7resized for blog-6A67A8203One of my personal favorite moments of the night was when the sun started to set. The guests were all dining in the garden when someone happened to notice. It was if someone had yelled “fire” - everyone jumped up from the table and fled the back side of the property to watch the sun go down. It was beautiful! I felt so bad for the caterers who were just serving the entree course, but it was definitely a sweet and carefree moment to remember!A67A8178
