Happy Wedding Wednesday lovebirds! As promised last time, today, we’ll be sharing with you the super intimate and grand wedding of Sophie and Aaron. In case you missed last week’s post, the couple celebrated their wedding weekend at the Avalon Hotel in Palm Springs where they had 5 events over a 4-day weekend and their celebration was no doubt one of our favorites from 2017. So without further ado, please enjoy Sophie and Aaron’s amazing wedding day!Sophie and Aaron are a lovely couple from New York and they both have a great sense of design so it was an honor to be able to bring their aesthetic to life. Their vision for the wedding was to have a celebration that was modern, elegant and simple yet luxe so we decided to use neutrals such as white, oatmeal and touches of grey as their color focus. To bring a super chic and clean vibe for their wedding, we brought in a chuppah overloaded with lush, white flowers and peeks of green leaves; it was truly breathtaking. One of our favorite details from their wedding was all the customized printed items that screamed fun and grand at the same time. We used gold foil on the programs, menus and table assignment board to match their invitation suite and add a touch of elegance… we loved how they all turned out! To make the night even more special, we brought in a surprise aquadance performance during cocktail hour which had the couple and guests talking all night! For their reception, the couple had a family-style dinner. We used long banquet tables paired with delicate white linens for a smooth and clean look. At each place setting, we used 1 green glass as a pop of color. The guests dined under chandeliers, bistro lights, glowing orbs and poms of flowers. Finally, we also let up a lounge area with a New York nightclub feel to bring the couple a sense of home and it was so much fun! The night ended with lots of dancing and sweets which gave us all the feels when their celebration was coming to an end.This is it for Sophie and Aaron’s fete!
