Happy Wedding Wednesday, lovebirds!Today, we’re back with another stunning summer wedding for you! Rebecca and Rod’s soiree had a romantic al fresco feel, with modern elements throughout. We loved collaborating with this couple to bring their vision to life, and can’t wait to share it with you. Please enjoy! Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events Rebecca and Rod’s big day took place at Catalina View Gardens. For their color scheme, we chose to focus on neutrals, creams, and diluted grey with hints of green, blush, and gold accents. Rebecca wore a flowing white gown (THAT BACK THOUGH...), while bridesmaids wore light grey dresses of varying styles. The simplistic beauty of the dresses added movement and paired flawlessly with the florals. The personal bouquets were packed with ivory and blush blooms, along with scattered greenery. Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events Guests entered the ceremony area to find a beautiful vintage greeting table. Here, family and friends had the opportunity to sign the couple’s guestbook. The signage was mixed, with both a wooden card box and acrylic pieces. To add a personal touch, we included a framed photo of the happy couple! This element contributed to the overall simple garden feel. Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events The couple said “I Do” with one heck of a view at this picturesque ceremony site! The large, weeping tree set in front of the ocean was the perfect place to exchange vows. To complement the natural backdrop, we utilized dark wooden chairs with ivory cushions. Soft colors were incorporated through the florals. The end-of-aisle ground arrangements added height and movement with whimsical feathery elements, while the tree behind the couple was decorated with varying white and blush blooms. These touches were both garden-inspired and romantic. Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events At the entrance to the reception, we brought in French doors, with windows listing the table assignments. The white detailing brought in another vintage, yet clean element. The greenery arrangement placed on top of the doors carried the botanical, natural theme of the event.For the reception, we mixed round tables topped by soft, oatmeal-hued linens and rectangular exposed wooden tables. Each table had simple floral arrangements consisting of greenery and scattered blooms. At the round tables, we placed low metallic candles at the foot of the arrangements. In contrast, the rectangular tables had tall taper candles lining the center - how gracefully luxe! Each place setting consisted of a gold-rimmed charger, a simple ivory napkin, matte gold flatware, and clear glassware. A menu placed in the napkin had green details and was complemented by a eucalyptus leaf. The setup was both modern and clean, yet reflective of the romantic botanical vibe of their event. Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events At the head of the reception area, we set up a sweetheart table for the new Mr. and Mrs. that was just dripping with romance! From the ground to the table, blooming and feathery florals tied in the enchanted garden dinner party feel! The simple white table runner and taper candles of varying heights completed the table for two. Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events The cake was perfection. The textured frosting and flowers mirrored elements we incorporated throughout the rest of the day. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also delicious! To add a touch of humor, the table featured whimsical wooden signage. Modern Garden Party with a View | Marisa Nicole Events Music and dancing capped off this wonderful day of celebration. The newlyweds shared their musical talents by treating guests to a special performance. After that, they (and guests!) danced the night away under the glow of enchanting bistro lights!
