A Desert Chic Celebration: Marissa and Ryan Married!

Happy Thursday, lovebirds!Today, we are excited to share a special celebration of love! We worked with Marissa and Ryan to create a modern, romantic wedding celebration, and the finished product was nothing short of stunning. We hope you enjoy this sneak peek into these lovebirds’ wedding festivities!Marissa and Ryan chose varying greys, neutrals, and mixed metallics for their color focus. The differing yet similar bridesmaids’ dresses combined flawlessly, creating a modern, subdued dazzle. To add a clean finishing touch, each member of the bridal party held a bouquet of blooming white florals and greenery. The men wore navy suits for a clean and sophisticated accent.The couple wed at Avalon Hotel in Palm Springs. This boutique hotel’s garden created the perfect tailored ceremony setting to pair with simple white chairs and a gorgeous white gazebo. With the towering San Jacinto Mountains and palm trees swaying in the background, the vibe of the ceremony was truly desert chic. To add a fun modern element, we brought in gold floral rings to display behind the couple during the ceremony. The simple white blooms and varying eucalyptus greenery echoed the style of the bridal party bouquets.Family is of the highest importance to the couple and they wanted to commemorate the influence of loved ones who had passed. We designated a memorial chair, highlighting photos of significant family members. This dedication was sweet and meaningful. Though the weather was amazing, to ensure guest comfort, we placed a white paper fan at each seat. These touches made for one stunning ceremony!Guests toasted the newlyweds with cocktails served poolside. The large, white gazebos maintained the modern, clean look of the ceremony and created a comfortable spot for guests to mingle. We brought in personalized Jenga and corn hole games as fun cocktail hour activities.For their reception, we arranged long rectangular tables to border the dance floor. The simple white chairs mirrored those used at the ceremony. Tiny twinkle lights, along with table candles galore, created a glowing, enchanting dinner party space. Each table was covered with simple neutral linens and decorated with low, light blooms and eucalyptus greenery. The place settings included a gorgeous gold-rimmed charger, an ivory napkin, a gold-detailed menu, simple silver flatware, and clear glassware. Each name card was placed in a miniature succulent with a rustic metallic vase. The earthy feel of the colors and greenery was balanced with the flare of gold details and candlelight, creating the setting for a romantic evening.Instead of a traditional cake, the couple opted for a donut “cake.” Yum! This towering treat was a hit with the guests and a fun element of the evening!The festivities came to a close with dancing under the glow of the enchanting lights.
