Gracefully incorporating your favorite holiday into your wedding part 1: Fall

Hi Lovebirds!

Thanksgiving has come and gone, the winter holidays are just around the corner and we are experiencing all the seasonal feels. We just love it when couples want to incorporate holiday vibes into their wedding celebration. Today, we are kicking off the season with a blog series sharing tips on how to give a nod to your favorite holiday without having a fully themed wedding. Today, we are looking at thanksgiving and how to bring the best that the fall has to offer into your wedding cuisine & cocktails, decor, and guest experience!

Cuisine & Cocktails

There are so many fun, creative, and most importantly, subtle ways to include your favorite fall food and drink flavors into your reception. Consider giving nod to turkey day by serving thanksgiving favorites, family style at your wedding reception. Think sweet potatoes, mini pies, mashed root veggies, and anything with and dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg!

Decor

We just LOVE using fall tones and colors as a pallet for weddings! Wine, burnt orange, mustard yellow, warm metallics, we just can’t get enough of these hues that can help create that warm, cozy fall ambience throughout your celebration. Fall colors and design elements can be incorporated throughout your wedding aesthetic to help give a nod to the season, without totally giving in to a thanksgiving themed fete.

Guest Experience

They say the devil is in the details, and when it comes to guest experience, it is the small details that make the difference. You could promote Thanksgiving vibes by gifting your guests with mini jars of homemade seasonal jam, throwing around cozy pashminas in autumnal hues or using yummy fall themed cookies as place cards. The possibilities are endless.
